Cant't see the database

When I create a database with the administrator acount on the server in SQL 2005, it adds and I can see it (and the system databases too).

Then I added a user accout (Windows Auth), and connect to the database from the new accout, but I can't see the database I just created myself with the administrator accout (on the server) just the 'System Databases'.

I even tried to make a database with the new user account but get permission denied, even if I set dbcreator permission on the user. I get the error

"CREATE DATABASE permission denied in database 'master'".

Any ides?

Oh, i solved it by Connect, then choose the Options>> button,

And then in "Connect to database:" I choose my database.

Can't use DAC in SQL2K5.

SQL2K5
No SP.
Im trying to test out Dedicated Administrator Connection for my first time
and getting an error message:
____________________________
Cannot connect to admin:Server\InstanceName.
Additional information:
DAC's are not supported. (ObjectExplorer)
_________________________
The Browser service is running.
Any ideas?
TIA, ChrisRHi ChrisR
Is it a SQL Express instance?
From BOL: To conserve resources, SQL Server 2005 Express Edition does not
listen on the DAC port unless started with a trace flag 7806.
Is it a remote instance?
DAC must be enabled for remote connections from the Configuration
Manager.

Can't transfer user logins and password from 6.5 to 2000

I tried the upgrade wizard and I am getting this error:
"Unable to connect to the Export Server. Please verify that you are an NT
Administrator on that machine"
I am an NT Administrator on that box.
I also tried the script located
http://groups-beta.google.com/group/microsoft.public.sqlserver.security/browse_thread/thread/2eaa09c3d7d7bd1e/099a55c7fbed5496?q=copy+sql+6.5+logins+to+sql+2000&rnum=10#099a55c7fbed5496
but when I run it, it gives me alot of errors. Can anyone help me with any
suggestions. Thanks.

New SQL Server DBAI would just script them out, type in the passwords, and go on down the road
personally. Provided you don't have too many SQL Logins.

out the parameters for sp_addlogin). Also, see if the KB article that has sp_help_revlogin (search
for that word) has something you can use in order to facilitate the scripting of your current
logins.
